Holly’s Bridal Luncheon. Delightfully cheerful!

This past weekend, we had the honor of helping Carrol Martin host a luncheon for Holly Russell Nichols in Winnsboro, Louisiana. The weather was so beautiful and the setting was gorgeous. We wanted to share some of the photos with you so you could see how beautiful everything was. The luncheon let Holly, her bridal party, and family take a nice break from all the pre-wedding day stress.

Carrol opened up her beautiful home to everyone. Her veranda overlooks a beautiful pecan orchard and the comfortable, warm breeze blew just for Holly.

The tables were decorated with fresh flowers and beautiful stemware in which we enjoyed our refreshing drinks. The linen napkins were wrapped with sheer bronze ribbon with a sprig of purple flowers. Lunch was served on delightful china…Only the best for our ladies.

We served some wonderful Mimosas and delicious lemon water. It was cool and refreshing! We also served delicious Chocolate Covered Strawberries which were made by Noah and displayed on a 3-tier tinted glass tower.

The Menu:

Homemade Chicken Salad served over fresh romaine
Sliced Avocados
Croissants
Fresh Fruit Salad
Raspberry Sorbet w/chocolate covered strawberries, mint leaf, raspberry and lemon straws

What a wonderful day we had.
Here are some more of our beautiful tables before they were filled with beautiful ladies!

From Bridal Brunch to Birthday Cake...

Last week we were busy making arrangements for a Bridal Brunch and a 3-Tier Feather Birthday Cake. It was a eventful night for us to say the least. We started off by making the flower arrangements and then changed locations to ice the cake, all in the middle of a Thunderstorm. When we made it to the second location, we had no power. The power was out over half of the town. Thanks to the help of Noah's parents, we were able to complete the cake. They had power and let us use their kitchen to finish making the icing and decorate. They were a LIFESAVER!! Here is a final look at our items.

Tea Cup arrangement was for the the entrance table.

Centerpiece consisted of Hydrangeas and carnations.

Preparing for the 80's Birthday Party...

M&N was asked to put together a "Totally 80's" birthday party. Noah and I had fun preparing for the "Totally 80's" party. I was an 80's kid, so I knew that Noah and I could rock this party! The prep started with designing the invitations and then moved on to prepping for the photo booth. We decided to line the inside of the photo booth with a spatter painted lining.

Once we finished the linings, we were on to building the frame for the photo booth. Noah came up with the design for the booth and we started constructing. Well, I stood and held the boards why he cut and used the nail gun. He did the hard stuff. :)
Noah nailing the boards together.
Look at those mad skills! You see what I did there? (it's a "skil" saw..) Okay okay, I'll stop. (-:

The finished product! Noah is the MAN!! Now to transport to party site and cover.

Once we arrived at the party location, Noah got to work attaching the sheets while I started putting up the party decorations.

The 80's Boombox Cake!

The layers was made with yellow cake, two layers of chocolate and another layer of yellow cake. All layers had pink butter cream icing between them. YUM! All of the exterior icing was made with butter cream frosting. The kids were anxiously waiting for us to take off the handle that were made out of Three Musketeers and icing.
Woo Hoo!! The photo booth is complete and ready for the kids to have pictures taken!

Wreath making class with Southern Home & Garden Club...

Last night the Southern Home & Garden Club had M and N give a wreath making class. We had a phenomenal time visiting and being artsy! Take a look below for our final products.

L.A.W. made this colorful spring wreath with initial. She has some ribbon that she will be adding to it at a later date, but for now she liked the simplicity of this wreath.

D.M. made this wedding shower wreath. Sometimes simple is better.

K. W. found her artistic side last night. All I had to with student was show her a picture to go by and tell her to add a few things here and there and she did the rest. Fantastic job K.W.!!!

D.T. was a wonderful student. She was so eager to learn.

C.K.'s Spring Wreath was made from a grapevine wreath with Hot Pink Glitter Sprigs, Fuchsia Daisies, Lime Green w/white polka dot Daisies and Blue & White Mesh Ribbon

L.W. made a festive spring wreath. Again, I showed the picture and she went with it. I love the added touch of the Turquoise Feather!!

Showing everyone some Love on Valentines Day...

Love is not an exam to pass or fail,
Love is not a competition to win or lose,
But love is a feeling in which you care for someone more than yourself...
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

In the spirit of LOVE, we wanted to share the Valentine wreaths we made last week for our clients.
